The city's local police force led by Caloocan City police chief superintendent Samuel Pagdilao continues its massive operation against illegal gambling dens,prostitution,and drug abuse.

Illegal gambling --All forms of illegal gambling that continue to corrupt the residents particularly the minor were curbed through different operations conducted against jueteng in particular aside from sakla,bookies, lotteng,and others.For the period of January to November of 1996,they had registered a total of 1,272 crimes and 1,226 of these were solved giving a crime effeciency of 96.38%.

On prostitution--Illegal establishment where prostitution use to hibernate were close down to eradicate immorality in the city through indefatigable effort exerted by local police officers and city officials led by Mayor Malonso.

Anti-drug campaign--The caloocan anti-drug council(CADAC)chaired Mayor Malonso had been reorganized to further the effectiveness of the campaign against the abuse of prohibited drugs.

Just recently,the caloocan city police and barangay officials implemented there own version of the "shame campaign"against illegal drug pusher by conduting ridiculous demonstration in front of the pusher's residence.
